For over 130 years, this committed group of approximately 500,000 volunteers has
worked tirelessly to build and operate what is now a North American
network of 22 hospitals dedicated to serving sick and injured
children. We believe that the Shriners also
deserve special recognition for their outstanding contribution
to our country, and we're acknowledging the organization in
our own way by including them in our “American
